Indra has a long history of serving the global AV‑8B Harrier community through the production, upgrade, maintenance, and support of state-of-the-art flight training devices. In addition to the AV‑8B Multi-Task Trainers Indra supplied to the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC), we have performed all upgrades to every AV‑8B flight trainer operated by the USMC, the Spanish Navy, and the Italian Navy for nearly a decade.

Indra is currently engaged in executing the AV‑8B Block Upgrade program, an extensive technology refresh effort for all five USMC AV‑8B flight training devices. Existing Devices 2F150A, 2F150B, and 2F150C, located at MCAS Cherry Point, NC, and MCAS Yuma, AZ, are being upgraded to utilize current technology. Devices 2F149 and 2F150 are receiving even more extensive upgrades, and will be redesignated as Devices 2F150D and 2F150E. As a part of the upgrade, Indra is able to establish commonality between the five devices, reducing total ownership costs, increasing usability, and easing future upgrade efforts. Indra's knowledge of and experience on the AV‑8B platform are unmatched throughout the world.
