Recently, Indra delivered the most advanced simulator in the world for single-engine helicopters to American Eurocopter, the leading manufacturer of helicopters.

The simulator is an advanced full-motion simulator for the AS350 helicopter. The AS350 is primarily used by law enforcement and medical rescue agencies and is the most widely employed surveillance helicopter in the U.S.

Feedback from American Eurocopter on the new simulator has been excellent, with AE’s Del Livingston proclaiming the simulator will “redefine how TFO (Tactical Flight Officer) training is conducted.”

Capt. Steve Rugg with Utah Highway Patrol said, “The response was a lot like the real aircraft and with the realistic environments, we were able to practice our emergency procedures in actual mission scenarios.”

Martin Jackson, President of Airborne Law Enforcement Association (ALEA) said, “This was a unique opportunity for us to utilize one of the most advanced, full-motion flight simulators on the market.” Jackson also said, “This will allow us to bring real-world training scenarios to our course for the entire crew.”
