H-60 FAST Lot II Awarded to Indra

17 January 2007 (Winter Park, Florida, USA) -- Indra Systems, Inc., of Orlando, Florida, annouced today that is has been awarded Lot II options for the H-60 FAST (Fleet Aircrew Simulator Training) Upgrade Program.

The H-60 FAST program involves upgrades to U.S. Navy SH-60B, HH/SH-60H/F, and MH-60S operational flight trainers (OFTs), weapons system trainers (WSTs), and weapons tactics trainers (WTTs). These upgrades will provide a number of needed improvements to the legacy H-60 trainers, including NASMP (Navy Aviation Simulator Master Plan) networking compatibility, rehost to PC-based systems, PC-based image generators, and acoustic stimulator upgrades. The total value of the program will be approximately US$30 million. The award was made following a Full and Open Competition under Training Systems Contract (TSC) II Lot I, the U.S. Navy's contractual vehicle for Navy and Marine Corps training systems acquisitions and modifications.
